Read this, it is my an ongoing investigation:

When the #US unlawfully assassinated #Iran Sardar Qassem Soleimani, the #IRGC cdr was carrying a message to #Iraq PM Adel Abdul Mahdi who also asked him to visit #Baghdad following a direct request of mediation by Donald Trump.+
No doubt that Trump and his team cowardly planned the assassination and created circumstances for a setup to bring Sardar Soleimani to #Iraq, a trip that was not on his schedule.
But above all, Soleimani carried a message from Sayyed Ali Khamenei to #SaudiArabia. +
Is it the rapprochement between #SaudiArabia and #Iran the reason behind assassinating Sardar Soleimani? A normalisation of relationship between #Tehran and #Riyadh certainly damages the #US national interest.+
#SaudiArabia spend tens of billions of dollars on armaments mainly acquired from the #US and the #UK.
Also, why would any country in the Middle East want a US base if there is no fear of war or the state of animosity is over?
Trump called Abdel Mahdi at 2100 on the 31st of December and asked him in person to mediate with the Iranians. He knew that the link between #Iraq and #Iran is Haj Qassem. Therefore Trump and his team were waiting for Sardar Soleimani to assassinate him.
The #US knows that Haj Qassem's close aide had a smartphone, aware that all services could listen to conversations. The US also knew that there were messages between #SaudiArabia and #Iran but still at an initial stage. Disrupting peace in the ME puts the US outside.
Well, the assassination of Sardar Qassen Soleimani will have the same result. The #US forces can no longer have peace in the Middle East under Trump or Biden or any other future President.
The #US is the source of instability in #Lebanon, #Syria, #Iraq, #Yemen and #Afghanistan. The US is also THE source of animosity among the Middle Eastern countries.

Don't be surprised if in #Iran & among Iranians living abroad, there is a resistance related to the nuclear deal where many want to show a pragmatic side. Showing an understanding of Western thinking. However, it is also important for the West to understand that there are limits+
#Iran tried your (pragmatic) approach notwithstanding Trump's rejection of the JCPOA and Europe followed suit. We see @JoeBiden admin is manoeuvering thinking there is a room to "enlarge" the deal. Bottom line: no respect of the JCPOA and no immediate lifting of sanctions+
The Iranians living in the West need to understand that no country - only #Iran and #Cuba to name but a few - can hold 41 years under sanctions. It is time for Iran to show determination and bring out its teeth and refuse to be a toothless shark. Otherwise sanctions continue+

Not my style to remind but, for the last 5 months, I have been saying - quoting decision-makers in #Iran - that #Tehran could go full nuclear and reach weapons-grade if the #US abuses of its sanctions & refrain from honouring its commitments & allows EU countries to follow suit.
No leader in the world accepts for his country to remain under harsh sanctions without reacting. It is time for the #US to stop abusing of its power and lift ALL not partial sanctions on #Iran. Removing folkloric sanctions won't work.
#Iran is now convinced that by reaching nuclear weapons-grade, no country in the world would dare to threaten it, without the need to use nuclear weapons, like the +100 that #Israel possess and was about to use in 1973.

The west, mainly #US and #UK, supply the Lebanese Army with light and medium calibre weapons and transport vehicles in the hope that one day the army would stand against #Hezbollah. Most Lebanese believe the Army is "sacred" and can't be criticised and its leader is an almighty.
Hundreds of millions of dollars are spent monthly in #Lebanon on over 125,000 members of the security forces when the number of inhabitants is around 5-6 million. This large number has mostly a prestigious role, ease connections & services & employ people to satisfy politicians

It is not a question of when @JoeBiden will unconditionally return to honour the JCPOA (Nuclear deal) revoked by Donald Trump. The question is: who and which guarantee the #US can give to the world and #Iran that another US President, after four years, will guarantee the deal?
The JCPOA was confirmed by the #UN UNSCR 2231. The US proved it is careless about the UN resolutions. Why would #Iran accept a deal with the US and Europe who never honoured their part of the deal and are calling for its modification?
Iranian pragmatics heartedly want the #US backing to prove their policy has been successful and that Trump was an exception. @jooebiden is not supporting them because he (and Europe that follows) are giving wrong signals and expressed their intention of modifying the signed deal.

Exactly a year ago, at 17 minutes past midnight (12:17), an Airbus A350 belonging to Ajnihat al-Sham flight arriving from Damascus landed at Baghdad airport with 5 Iranian commanders onboard, including Sardar Qassem Soleimani A #US SOF team was waiting close by.+
#Iran #IRGC brigadier general booked his flight under a different name. He was the first to leave the plane followed by his close companions. Abu Mahdi, along with two of his close aid-de-champ and his security trusted man (Sayyed al-Jaberi) were waiting on the runway.+
As the two cars drove away, at 12:37 (past midnight) two US MQ-9 Reaper drones fired 230 mph laser-guided Hellfire missiles, incinerating the bodies of Soleimani, al-Muhandes and all their Iranian and Iraqi companions.

No war in the Middle East before @realdonaldtrump's departure from the White House. The #US & #Israel are afraid, taking defensive measures, terrified of potential attacks at the anniversary of the US unlawful assassination of Sardar Qassem Soleimani and Haj Abu Mahdi alMuhandes.
#US assassinated the Maestro who enjoyed influence over #Iraq resistance groups. Now the Iraqi r going wild against #US forces present in Iraq as long as these are not willing to withdraw. It is @realDonaldTrump whop shot himself in the leg by assassinating Soleimani.More to come
#Iran and #Hezbollah are on alert and believe the #US could strike before the 20th of January 2021. Hezbollah will strike back in this happen but, to my mind, no war because #Israel fear the consequences and is not ready for it.
