It is a change in EU security policy: With a specially created budget outside the EU budget, arms and ammunition deliveries to third countries are to be possible for the first time. The "European Peace Facility" (EPF).

An "instrument to strengthen the capacities of third countries as well as regional and international organizations in military and defense issues", as it is in the draft of the German "#Monitor";

Somewhat encapsulated means nothing else than that the EU can in future also deliver military equipment such as handguns, guns, howitzers or cannons to countries in crisis regions. So far, only states could do this on their own responsibility, but not the EU.

In the corruption investigation against the member of the Bundestag and former CSU man Georg Nüßlein because of the mask affair, there is now a third accused. A spokesman for the Munich attorney general said it was not a politician.

But he did not want to give any further details. According to information from the German Press Agency, there had been another search in Munich during the preliminary investigation. The other accused is said to be a businessman.

Two weeks ago, the public prosecutor's office had 13 properties in Germany and Liechtenstein searched in connection with the investigation against Nüßlein and a second, unnamed accused.

Germany's Federal Foreign Minister Heiko Maas travels to Paris for talks on reviving the "peace process" between Israel and the Palestinians.

There he wants to consult with his counterparts from France, Jordan and Egypt on how to get movement back into the deadlocked conflict. Already yesterday Jordans foregin minister did meet with Heiko Maas in Berlin for the peace process in the midle east.

who are identified as interrogators of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. They are accused of “gross human rights violations,” including torture and/or barbaric, inhuman,

or degrading treatment or punishment of political detainees detained during protests in Iran in 2019 and 2020. Their immediate family members may also be refused admission to the United States.

Here the original report of the earthquake with english subtittles to the 9.1Mw #Earthquake #地震 and the follwing #Tsunami #津波 in Japan. Were it is known as #東北地方太平洋沖地震 or in english Tohoku Pacific Ocean Earthquake. The earthquake and Tsunami killed at least 25,000.

The video is cut into two parts as it took several minuts as a #Tsunami warning had been issued in #Japan. Many people have lost there life and several hundret km coast line and innland area were completely destroyed and wiped out. Since then Japan drasticly improved its EEW.
