2) Wondering how this particular bit of advice ⬇️ will play out in schools & early years settings after #Easter?

Crowded poorly ventilated classrooms w/ up to 30 kids from different households are the very essence of HIGH RISK spaces. Dining rooms/PE halls could even be worse!

3) If I’ve understood it correctly anywhere in the RED AREAS needs extra attention?

INDOORS ✅
HIGH OCCUPANCY ✅
SILENT, SPEAKING, SHOUTING, SINGING, PHYSICAL EXERTION ✅
POORLY VENTILATED ✅
& NO FACE COVERINGS ⬆️ THE RISK

4) It’s such a shame no one highlighted the risk within schools in advance of the summer term 21?
You must be so frustrated that no one looked at or told you of ways to ⬇️ the risks of getting #COVID19 for millions of children, families & the staff that care for & teach them?

5) But don’t worry, no one could possibly accuse you of turning a blind eye to the #COVID risk for such a HUGE number of British ppl.
Or for not looking abroad to see where schools have had investment to improve #ventilation, are using #blendedlearning or where kids >6 wear 😷s.

6) And they’d absolutely NEVER believe the suggestion that you succumbed to the pressures from groups like #UsForThem, #CRG, #HartGroup, #Unlocked et al who are #antimask & #antilockdown, rather than listen to voices of #SAGE & @IndependentSage who predicted the current tragedy.

7) Luckily - BREAKING NEWS in the MSM this week was that #COVIDisAirborne, so you may just have to eat humble pie to all the scientists & healthcare professionals who’ve been shouting it from the rooftops for months. Don’t let #JenniferArcuri or #institutionalracism distract you!

8) But don’t worry @GavinWilliamson, you can always blame @educationgovuk, the @NEUnion, teachers, parents, maybe even the children themselves, that after a whole year UK schools & early years settings remain UNSAFE, HIGH RISK places for #coronavirus transmission.

9) It’s not as if there are 1000s of us who’ve seen #COVID19 up close, who have repeatedly asked (pleaded & begged) for you to #MakeSchoolsSafe.
We aren’t the sort to keep accurate notes of everything that’s happened since you agreed to open schools in Sept WITHOUT MITIGATIONS.

10) We would NEVER consider calling the #SchoolScandal WILFUL NEGLIGENCE.
Or asking lawyers & serious journalists to question the nonsense repeated MANY TIMES by @BorisJohnson that “Schools Are Safe”.
We’d never do that.
