1) π¬π§ The 8 steps of UK #LongCovid prevalence research in a nutshell - By an upset parent. 1. Child suffers disabling symptoms for over 12 months 2. GP says it is health #anxiety and standard blood tests show nothing wrong, so there can not be anything wrong. 3. #Parent has been
2) using Zoe app, but gives up logging symptoms after x months as they can't see the point anymore. No one believes they are sick anyway 4. Child has disabling symptoms for over 12 months 5. GP says children don't get #longcovid as the @govuk has told them this
3) for the last 18 months. Parent and child both dismissed as "anxious". #Child never sees a #paediatrician as GP dismisses them & paediatricians, therefore, don't see many kids with #longcovid.
4) 6. @TheLancet publishes this data (notably the same journal that published the flawed MMR causes autism data!!) 7. RESULT - Even more people don't believe #longcovid exists, and they put themselves and their children at greater risk of infection thinking
5)it could never happen to them or their child.
8). Good science research shows #Covid damages the #brain, reduces grey matter, reduces IQ, produces early #parkinsons symptoms - mainstream media and government ignore this data and keep cramming unvaccinated kids into
6) unventilated schools without masks.
We wish we could say this frustrated parents experience is unusual but π’it isn't.

GROUP POST ON EXERCISE
1)"My 15 yr old son is 16 months into LC. It took 15 months to be diagnosed. He has still not received any professional advice or support about eg how to #pace; how to manage ongoing symptoms. @NHSuk@JimBethell@sajidjavid
2)He has improved slightly in the last couple of months but is still very ill with fatigue, dizziness, chest pains, migraines. His paediatrician has "prescribed" exercise via the local leisure centre. They are not mentioning GET, but the programme is not being
3)delivered via medical professionals. I am terrified that this is going to do more harm than good, so was planning to ditch it. He is already experiencing boom and bust with everyday activities- ie doing a small activity at the weekend and then taking the week to recover.
