#Berdyansk residents have 3 new radio stations (🇺🇦 stations were blocked months ago)

All are propaganda including Crimea Radio which gives updates on "liberated" #Kherson & #Zaporizhzhia which will soon switch to🇷🇺 license plates.

#Severodonetsk is the major talking point right now. This became the makeshift regional #Luhansk capital for Ukraine's administration after 2014

Russian troops are fighting in the city now. Four civilians died in shelling. 11 apartment blocks were hit.

Still on #Severodonetsk, the city leader Aleksandr Stryuk says 1,500 residents have died during the war.

That's 1.5% of the entire peacetime population and the city was largely evacuated before the worst of the hostilities.

Speaking this morning #Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said "The West has declared total war on the entire Russian world."

Almost laughable if not so serious. Finally he uses the word "war" when there's no proof a single weapon or missile has been fired on Russia.

The Russian ruble ha finally been weakening again in the past few days but remains way above levels at the outbreak of war.

In the last few days the dollar has strengthened from a low of 56 rubles to 66. Quite a rise, but still a long way from 81 on the first day of war, 24 Feb.

#Ukraine's Defence Ministry claims they have not been driven out of #Lyman.

Spokesman Oleksandr Motuzyanyk says they're still battling in the NW + SE parts of the town. My information is that's not true - though it could just mean #Ukraine is shelling Russian forces there.

The clergy stated they completely disagreed with Patriarch Kirill of Moscow's position - earlier he blessed the war (and killing of Ukrainians)

Explosions have been heard for a long while now in #Kherson.

Many on social media and chat forums talking about #Chornobaivka but it's not just there where these bangs can be heard.

Unverified reports that #Ukraine has hit a Russian helicopter in #Kharkiv region.

The Ka-52 attack copter was hit near #Izium according to one local reporter.

Another 5 civilians died as a result of the fighting in #Donetsk region over the course of the day.

That's according to regional head Pavlo Kyrylenko,who says 542 residents have died due to the war since 24 February, but numbers from #Mariupol + #Volnokhavka are not known.

A lot of activity in #Vasylivka tonight.

This is an occupied town, midway between #Zaporizhzhia city and #Melitopol'

Explosions in #Kharkiv again tonight.

Locals seem to think Iskander missiles were being fired from over the border.

In Kharkiv there are flames in at least one site.
