I'm happy Crazy Rich Asians is doing so well at the box office but like it...I didn't...it wasn't my jam, personally
there were a lotta Male Writing Rom-Com tells in it, most notably the EXTREMELY PERFECT DUDE who was also completely trash and lied to her for their whole relationship but never had to deal with that fact at all and that bugged me :-/
I get that the tension and comedy of rom-coms is often premised on a lie, and I never care much for that aspect personally, b/c in real life a lie is a shoddy foundation to base a relationship on, but ok it's movies, relax, yeah yeah...

The Evidence Obtained Outside Cameras will not show any evidence of ‘tempering’ but other than license plates of dozens of diplomatic cars (Many with tinted windows-large trunks) with related time stamp, drivers Info, model/year: Nothing.
#Turkish Intel-Investigative Bodies also have the list of all Diplomatic & Private Saudi & “other significant’ Planes in #Turkey for the period of ‘interest.’ Many of the Target airports have their own security cameras & related evidence.

A large section of the India's so-called educated middle-class is socially regressive and shows support for demagogues and opposes progressive values. People wonder why this is so.

I however, wonder why this is surprising. It's clear as day. It's all in our education system.
The other day, on a Whatsapp group, a software engineer - a school friend - shared a meme that pretty much said that rising petrol prices are okay because at least the BJP is saving us from Bangladeshis and Rohingyas and suchlike.
Before that, a doctor - another school friend and a trained psychiatrist - said that I had violated his freedom of expression by blocking him on Facebook. I had blocked him because even after multiple warnings, he had been spamming my comment threads with the defence of a rapist.

Early concept art for ‘Revenge of the Sith’ depicted Padmé connecting with the Force and having visions as a result of her pregnancy.

(Which would have been slightly more interesting than “stares out of window, cries”.)
In the old canon, Padmé's great-granddaughter, Allana Solo, adopted and trained one of the giant cat lizards (nexu) that Padmé fought in the Geonosis arena.

I was buying a BB-8 lanyard-- for the Disney cruise I'll be on as a guest speaker for Star Wars Day at Sea next week-- and the cashier said, "This is not the droid you're looking for." And I said, "I assure you that it is." And he said, "Well, do you know what that's from?"

It's #StarTrekDay, and I can't begin to express how much Sisko and DS9 meant to me as a kid. Not gonna try, I'll just repeat my fave story.
I got into basically every college I applied to, and when it came down to it I was choosing between Oberlin, Pitzer, and I think Occidental.
I was leaning heavily on Pitzer, which seemed like Oberlin with better weather. My parents didn't want me to go to LA.
