60 books/year is more than one per week. There's no fucking way that's "average". Huckster, feel-bad bullshit to sell you slim fast diet.
Are these "average" CEOs reading 60 books per year while crushing it with "passion" at work for 80 hours/week? Get the fuck outta here.
Also, you think the mythical mega-reader CEOs are actually wasting time on "Money: Master the game", "Disrupt you", "Think & Grow Rich"? 😂
Reading is wonderful, but treating it as another rat-race stats game where you need cheat codes to keep up is beyond dumb and cynical.
Finally, if your reading list can distill to brief summaries, your list sucks. Read better books. Take your time. Savor don't swallow.

If you have to get up at 4am to get any work done, your workplace is broken. If you’re the CEO doing this, why aren’t you fixing your broken workplace rather than running away from it?
Accepting that work can’t happen at work is productivity bankruptcy. It’s time to restructure your processes and principles. Dump your toxic liabilities and invest in some healthy habits.
Allowing work to happen at work during normal work hours is the cornerstone of how we get so much done at Basecamp. How we can get by with 50-some employees while others need 3-5x that to service the same number of customers. It’s a productivity secret hiding in plain sight.

There are only two choices here!! Either we accept, and even encourage, all abuse coming from the leaders of companies we like, or those companies simply cannot exit. You don't like bosses abusing workers? NO ELECTRIC CARS FOR YOU! NO IPHONE FOR YOU.
There's of course also another way: We stop protecting abusive bosses from criticism, they learn that it becomes hard to raise money/hire smart people/get good press acting as an asshole, THEY WISE UP AND CHANGE THEIR WAYS ✨
It's beyond infantilizing to presume that smart people like Musk or Jobs were at once both so capable of learning and adapting in business and technology, but utterly incapable of changing their abusive workplace behavior.

Just listen to the Predictum CEO’s approach to the privacy issue with invading every single social-media account of the babysitters: “If we ever leaked a babysitter’s info, that would not be cool”.

Is this a joke? You couldn’t have drawn a more callous, stereotypical techbro.
But it gets worse. Listen to all the parents so eager to employ this unaccountable, hellscape of an algorithm: “100 percent of the parents are going to want to use this,” she added. “We all want the perfect babysitter.”

This is going to be a longish thread. I've tried to review 23 corrections since Jan 2002 (excluding 2008-09) to find what kind of patterns exist in a correction and can we make any judgments from this history of corrections. So, Lets see what comes out of this.

Every correction > 10% since Jan 2002 is included in this analysis.
Some of these corrections could also be corrections within a longer down trend.
Some key analysis parameters are:
1. Speed of Decline
2. Duration of Decline
3. Types of Candles in the Decline (Weekly Charts)

5. Max. no. of consecutive Reds
6. Where did the corrections end?
7. Was there any intra-correction consolidation of between 2 - 4 weeks?
8. No. of weeks to previous high
9. Where did the subsequent rally end?
10. RSI Tops and RSI Bottoms

I've observed before that Donald is most dangerous not when he's cornered or afraid but when he feels invincible. He does cruel things because he can, to prove that he can. When he believes he's above and beyond reprisal, he'll stick the knife in twice as far, kick twice as hard.
He fired Comey when he was feeling on top of the world, he was on a roll and he kept rolling. He hasn't fired Rosenstein or Mueller yet because he hasn't felt that kind of security about them yet.

Statistics on #FarmMurders and #FarmAttacks were released by the South African government for the first time since 2011, confirming an average of 510 attacks and 56 murders per year, that is more than one per week.
Farmers are being slaughtered in the most horrific, inhumane, sadistic, barbaric ways. They are tortured until they die, women raped for hours on end while their husband's are forced to watch, their heads are crushed and they are set alight.
