So quite a lot of commentary out there about Lord Kerr speech on revoking Article 50 not being last word on the matter.
This is plainly true. Legal opinion split, although most EU legal experts I've spoken to - say about 75% of them - think A50 unilaterally revocable.
But Kerr intervention today is not really a legal one. If this becomes legal point it'll be decided in court & his view won't form major part of its reasoning.
It's really a political intervention. Remain need to get past the view - quite widely held in public - that Brexit is irreversible.
That's why today was useful and it's important to keep making the case. Not to settle the issue, but so people know that this is not a done deal.
