Here lies the crux. Trans women *know* they are not women in any concrete, material sense.

Which is what gives rise to all the various mental gymnastics of biology as social construct, and ideas of sexed brains and/or souls trumping the bare facts of ones reproductive system.
The truth must be bent, squeezed, and hammered square into a round hole in order to provide 'proof', and therefore validation.

But the actual truth of our physical selves does not require endless validation. I've no need to harangue, manipulate, or bully others into confirming
my femaleness, or the fact that I am 5'4" tall with blue eyes, because these facts are self evident.

I've no need to develop mind bending, reality challenging theories about height or eye colour, and insist that others subscribe to them under threat of assault, because I am
secure in the knowledge of what is real and true about myself.

No natal woman has ever said to another natal woman: "I believe you're a woman and I respect that." Nobody has ever felt the need to say to me: "I believe you have blue eyes and I respect that." Because in the face
of an obvious truth, this would be a ridiculous thing to say.

And so in saying: "I believe you're a woman" to India, the truth - that the speaker does *not* believe it - is revealed instantly. India knows this, and so on a wider, more general scale, do trans activists.
They know exactly what the majority of women are doing: placating, humouring, pitying, and playing along, either out of a sense of fear, or a need to be seen as 'right' and 'good'. There seems to be an attitude of 'Oh just let them have it' as though they were small children
insisting they were owners of a toy that didn't belong to them.

This will backfire, as is clear in India's reaction on #CBB2018, because a sense that one is being patronised and lied to leads only to anger and resentment and demands for validation becoming ever more outrageous.
We see this happening now when we are asked to take seriously the claim that trans women have periods.

Of course trans women don't have periods. It is a physical impossibility. So please, just stop it. Stop lying to trans women. It will ultimately cause more distress than it
solves. THEY KNOW THEY DON'T HAVE PERIODS. THEY KNOW YOU ARE LYING TO THEM. Imagine how that must feel.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the truth: that they are trans women, not female, and worthy of the same rights and respect as anyone else simply by virtue of being
a human being.

Women need to think about how much respect they are *really* offering someone when they tell them untruths to try to make them (and themselves) feel better.

#CBB2018 is showing us how this ultimately will not work.

End of thead.
