During the presidential campaign:

* WSJ killed op-ed on Trump's mafia ties
* Multiple outlets, most notably NYT, lied about Trump's Kremlin ties and FBI investigation after being briefed on them
* Multiple outlets killed Trump porn star and hush money stories

The Trump lawyer implicated in the porn star case, Michael Cohen, has a history of threatening journalists, and did so during the campaign:

Pay attention to the long-term, cumulative damage of the shutdown, including the effect on the census.

The Trump admin has long sought to manipulate the census in an effort to reallocate resources and annihilate rights. This isn't just a shutdown -- it's a hostile restructuring.
I warned from the start that this was a deliberate plan. There are some things we may be able to recover: voter rights, jobs. There are others we may lose forever -- like some of our national parks.

And most importantly, we lose lives. The admin kills, the shutdown accelerates.
The scope of loss from the shutdown is staggering. Already we lost FDA inspection; FBI and TSA protection from terrorism and violent crime; food stamps for needy families; paychecks for desperate workers; the national parks system...

It's unsustainable and that's the point.

After sleeping on this, I’ve unearthed a couple of salient points.this Op-Ed-as I said-is actually a more brilliant piece of writing than anyone has noticed. It’s incredibly hard to write with this much precision on a topic about which you ultimately divulge no information.
This is also a verifiable masterpiece of spinning language, worthy of its own Pulitzer Prize. You’ve noticed how the Democrats echo each other. Here’s “kids in cages” to refresh your memory but there are a thousand loops of this-all the same. They have 0 creativity changing words
That’s what makes this @nytopinion so astounding. It repeats every BS narrative of the last two years without using any of the same language. To tell you hard that is: imagine making a Land Rover without using any of the original parts, but making it even better.
