1/ a thread on a forgotten incident. Strzok texts mention Guccifer 1 on May 8, 2016, at almost exactly the same time as @Comey was drafting Hillary exoneration (long before interview). Strzok tells Page to turn on NBC to see Guccifer, who they call a "sleazy Romanian".

2/ online there are two near-contemporary NBC clips with Guccifer1. First on May 5 2:32 am, Guccifer said that Clinton server was “completely unsecured” - a claim that appears to be true.

3/ in supposed rebuttal, an anonymous "source familiar with [FBI] case" said "no sign of hacking" - a Clintonista talking point. However, under Cheryl Mills' orders, server logs had been destroyed, both original and backup, so how could anyone know? (Why no obstruction charge?)

4/ a second NBC story (7:13 pm) nbcnews.com/news/us-news/h… gave more details on access (which came via known SidBlumenthal hack). Commentator Tarbell wondered why Guccifer volunteered felony (which he recanted later).

5/ while Strzok/Page learned of incident via NBC, Fox had broken story in April. Another Fox story on May 4 foxnews.com/politics/2016/…. Their specialists said Guc story "plausible" and server logs might prove. (Except, of course, for BetterCallCheryl, Hillary's Saul Goodman.)

6/ on May 7, Reddit commenters reddit.com/r/politics/com… made a remarkable (but mostly unnoticed) observation. In 2013, Guccifer had posted up otherwise unknown Bill Clinton doodles. See gawker.com/new-hacked-pre…

7/ they observed that Gawker had described the doodles as coming from "Clinton Library", but they really came from the presidentclinton.com website which was hosted on same server as Hillary's emails. So there is tangible evidence that Guccifer 1 had been on famous server

8/ in a 2015 interview in Romania, Guccifer claimed that he used to read memos in Hillary correspondence for amusement.

9/ an AP news story in Oct 2015 said that Clinton system would "accept commands directly from internet" unprotected - as Guccifer 1 had said.

10/ another AP story said that a hacker, routing through Serbia, had scanned Clinton server twice in 2012. If server was open - as reported in other discussions, this hacker would also have had access.

11/ to be clear, the server hosting presidentclinton.com and clintonemails.com is not the same server as DNC emails, though a Guccifer with access to one would have IP addresses guiding him to the other

12/ in another thread, I'll post up a very important observation on DNC hack which has gone unnoticed.

4b/ Guccifer's recanting of story occurred in FBI interview on May 26, page 151 in first tranche of witness 302s (Sep 29)

Page worked on release of 302s in Sep/Oct, several mentions (MYE) in Strzok texts.

4c/ in FBI interview on May 26, 2016, Guccifer said that he was unable to obtain IP address of Clinton server from incoming emails and thus didn't follow. This doesn't seem right: why wouldn't he be able to see Clinton IP address on emails to Blumenthal?

4d/ Guccifer (in rural Romania) also said that he used a Russian proxy server in order to evade US monitoring. Russian proxy server was also used in Climategate. In other words, use of Russian proxy server doesn't mean that hacker is "Russian" despite analyst claims re DNC hack

4e/ Guccifer interview with FBI also contains reference to numerous hacking tools that he used. I'm unfamiliar with them, but perhaps worth re-visiting by specialists @with_integrity
