The Story of @AmericanAir and why you shouldn’t spend your money with them 😁 a thread:
I’m usually a Delta man, but Justin was like these American flights cheaper, so I’m like ok, let’s try em out. Little did I know, “you get what you pay for.” Was bout to take full effect. Wise words from a black barbershop
We pull up to the gate and notice a lil cufuffle already at the gate. I’m like hmmm. None of my business. So I Stroll over to the snack spot.
I grab a couple snacks and go to pay for em. The teller’s this cute old Asian lady. I daze off and think about how dope Japanese folk are for handing you your credit card with 2 hands. Despite the price being 800,000 dollars, I pull out the gold and hand it to her with 2 hands.
Shorty snatches the cash and drops the change in my hand like old candy. I’m like 😐She’s not even lookin me in the eye. I’m like dang, America taintin’ this cute old lady. Little did i know it was American Airlines and their evilness spreading.
I walk over to go board w my crew. Line lady stops my Dj saying she has to check her bag, she looks at me and my manager and says we all have to exit the line. We calmly explain, these are expensive instruments-and she, no eye contact says, figure it out with the supervisor
Still calm, Black and powerful, I say ok, and wait. I notice this super villain looking older white woman talking down to my Dj so I step in. I calmly explain that i would like a fragile tag because my instruments been broken on a plane before.
Then Desk lady says, take your laptop out then you can board so my Dj starts trying to rearrange things on the floor with her bag open. In 15 seconds The desk lady is hovering over my Dj grinning lookin all maniacal, straight power trippin. ain’t like this one bit
“Can we have a fragile tag” She barks “WE DONT DO THAT. BAG NO SAFE! IM TAKING THIS” Still calm I ask “can your supervisor provide a solution? Then the supervisor turns to the gate lady and says, these passengers have refused to check their bags, give away their seats! Blahahshs
Im wondering what all of this disrespect is stemming from. It’s her job to provide solutions and I made it easy by not yelling. I humbly said I’ve been around the world on multiple airlines and said my things have been smashed. I want protection or accountability.
While I’m reflecting my Dj takes a picture of the supervisors name tag. And She LOSES IT! “AHHHH SHES NOT BOARDING” I say ma’am I have a sold out show in the next City. She’s like “DELETE THE PICTURE. GIVE ME YOUR PHONE! Ahhh”
My blood pressure rising. I’m like Goku, I’m bout to slip into my yell voice. It’s wild, the woman waits and then motions for the man to open the door. Weirdest thing ever. Like they tried their hardest to trigger anger to have us forfeit our seat on the flight.
After all that we end up boarding Moral of the story, I felt way too disrespected to have paid so much Money. The woman kept lookin at my hoodie surprised my street wear garment was accompanied with such well spoken wakanada speech. She lucky I didn’t let her know who I was
The story ends with me riding back to the airport. @AmericanAir delayed my bags, and my djs bags. Another time @AngeloStateUCPC. ✌🏾 I’ll make sure I never fly with them again. lesson learned.
