Proud to partner w/ @LindseyGrahamSC on federal “red flag” legislation. This bipartisan breakthrough – modeled on CT’s proven law – would enable law enforcement to stop individuals in crisis from accessing guns.
Both parties can agree: Someone who is an immediate threat to themselves or others shouldn’t have a gun. Congress has a duty to keep weapons of war from people in crisis. My bipartisan bill w/ @LindseyGrahamSC would do just that.
Americans want to see commonsense gun reform - and keeping weapons out of dangerous hands is as commonsense as it gets. Congress should take a stand for safety and join my effort w/ @LindseyGrahamSC.
