He goes on to add "if UK does not want to be part of the EU legal order then all we are left with is a standard FTA." This means no SM so big hit to UK service-based economy. @Open_Britain
As regards Northern Ireland, "who is asking for a border, well Brexit creates a border and it is up to the UK to bring forward solution. Since #Brexit creates a border it is important for us to maintain the functioning of the SM & CU. 27 are strongly united on finding a solution"
He notes on financial passporting "losing this is a logical consequence of leaving the Single Market."
On EU regulatory agencies, de Rynck is unequivocal "there are only 3 3rd countries who participate across the board, the three EEA members and they have to accept all the rules." @Open_Britain
