Hello again.

As we mentioned yesterday,, we have been in talks we had to have with the people that provided with the information we relayed to you during this week.
We are here today to tell you what happened with all of our statements, and, in some cases, why. I hope you understand we can not be fully transparent about everything.
Before starting, we need to say that we get you are dissapointed by us, feel cheated by us or you are outright mad at us. We can relate to that right now.
We know we are not in a position to ask for more of your confidence, specially if you feel that we used it all already. But we would like to ask you to please read this Twitter thread until the end.
If you still feel like that by then we honestly can not blame you and we are super thankful for giving us another chance. We also want to thank the people who has supported us or voiced their rightful complaints without excesive abrasion. That is the great majority of you.
Some basic but necessary context: all the statements about specific games we made were based on information we obtained from three other people. None of the people in LeakyPandy have direct access to the materials and content we report on.
We published information based on our trust of this people's access. We also tried to publish information that was known at least by two of this people, but that was not the case with all of the statements... wich was the second of our two big mistakes.
Of this three people only 2 were actually reliable sources who had some degree of access to the material they were talking about. We realized this last night.
We also would like to remind you that not all the info that is passed around is up to date, even if it is rightful. Plans and game development also change.
Now we will go through our statements trying to shed some light into what happened.
First let's go fast through what was accurate about the information we published, since it will not take too much time:

-Nintendo Direct airing date.

-Nintendo Direct announcement date.

-All information regarding Travis Strikes Again.
Sometimes the last piece of information is ignored, but we want to point it out along the others because some industry-related people that inquired about our statements privately know about how and why we got this 3 pieces of info correctly specifically at that date.
If you see someone still being OK with us this may or may not have to do with it.
Now we will look at all the misinformation we published.
We believe what we published about the Fire Emblem game for Nintendo Switch is mostly true, but we reported very poorly on it given the information we had at the time (wich is, admittedly, outdated).
It was never stated to us that it would be on the Nintendo Direct, but due to the tunnel vision caused by knowing about the broadcast we ignored that fact and misreported it to all of you. That was our first big mistake, a rookie mistake, and we apologize for it.
That being said, we are confident that when time is due, the reveal will line up with what we said about the game's theme and title.
When we published the "Ever Oasis Sagas" piece we did so without 2 people being able to back it up. We took the word of one sinle person seriously because of a previouly stablished relationship and because we were provided with very detalied info that was very plausible...
... yet very hard to predict or come up with by chance. Since yesterday, all our attempts to get in touch with this person have been ignored or outright blocked on all possible fronts. This person lied to us and we lied to you all. We are very, very sorry.
The information about Super Mario Odyssey DLC packs was first given to us by one of our trusted sources and was clear about 1 pack being Luigi's Mansion themed, but the number of Moons or any kind of release date were not given to us.
When we reached out to other people for confirmation, it was "confirmed" by the person we now know was lying to us, who was also dedicated enough to come up with the the rest of what we told you.
We do not know if this is DLC is really happening since we are still unable to get a second source to confirm the original and we only get behind double checked information.
Lastly, the Pokken DLC. When we recieved this information and at the time of publishing it we were not aware of fact that the paid DLC and its contents were already public knowledge.
The extra addition to the roster being a mysterious Pokémon teased in a siluette in the next big Nintendo PR move was confirmed by both of our trusted sources. What happened? Nobody around us knows. We were wrong even if everthing fell perfectly into place for us.
All we can say about that piece of info is... sorry.
