Thread with useful TradingView tickers.
Will add tickers and some interpretations over time. See for how to use the tickers.
Japanese Premium (%): BITFLYER:BTCJPY*JPYUSD/BITFINEX:BTCUSD-1
Korean Premium (%): BITHUMB:BTCKRW*KRWUSD/BITFINEX:BTCUSD-1
Tether Premium (%): USDTUSD-1
BitMEX Premium (%): BITMEX:XBTUSD/BITFINEX:BTCUSD-1

To change % premia to $ premia, change '/' to '-' and delete '-1'.
Characteristics:
- Mean reverting
- Interestingly, the premia are highly correlated
- Excesses indicate an imbalance of fear or exuberance
- Good as a sentiment indicator (risk on/risk off)
Volume weighted BTC composite: (BITFINEX:BTCUSD*53+BINANCE:BTCUSDT*41+COINBASE:BTCUSD*17+BITSTAMP:BTCUSD*15+KRAKEN:XBTUSD*4)/130

Use this for Bitcoin.

TradingView Tip (Volume):

@tradingview charts, by default, merge the volume indicator with the price chart.

Pros:
- It saves space on your screen

Cons:
- Volume is immeasurable
- Volume can only be compared on a relative basis
Example:
Take a look at the @coinbase chart vs the @bitfinex chart. You'd have no idea that, on an absolute basis, Bitfinex's volume is 5x that of Coinbase's (trailing 120d).
Fix:
Right click the volume bar in TradingView and click on "unmerge down".
Voila, you've now produced a chart that properly quantifies volume.

This is a simple trick that is both underused and underrated. You should put volume in a separate pane by default.
Observing volume is important because it gives informs you of the market dynamics that are at play. (I'll elaborate on another day.)
On most exchanges, BTCUSD volume is BTC-denominated. There are some exceptions.

- KRAKEN:XBTUSD - BTC-denominated
- BITMEX:XBTUSD - BTC-denom.
- OKCOIN:BTCUSD3M - USD-denom. (multiply by 100)
- CME:BTC - BTC-denom. (multiply by 5)
- CBOE:XBT - BTC denom. (no multiplier)
Create a poor man's version of the Bloomberg Galaxy Crypto Index (BGCI) using @tradingview for $25k/year cheaper than a Bloomberg Terminal!

Faux BGCI: 2.10172341319882*BTCUSD^0.3*ETHUSD^0.3*XRPUSD^0.1413*BCHUSD^0.1063*EOSUSD^0.0611*LTCUSD^0.0377*DASHUSD^0.0167*XMRUSD^0.0166*ETCUSD^0.01*ZECUSD^0.01
More info about the index can be found at data.bloomberglp.com/indices/sites/…

Note that, like the Bloomberg Index, the base level of this series is set at 1000 on May 3, 2018.
Here's what the chart looks like.
Volume-Weighted Bitcoin Composite:

(BINANCE:BTCUSDT*31+BITFINEX:BTCUSD*23+BITSTAMP:BTCUSD*8+COINBASE:BTCUSD*8+KRAKEN:XBTUSD*8)/78

[Updated 2018-06-22]

Instructions:
Volume-Weighted Ethereum Composite:

(BITFINEX:ETHUSD*20+COINBASE:ETHUSD*9+
KRAKEN:ETHUSD*5+BITSTAMP:ETHUSD*2+BINANCE:ETHUSDT*12)/48

[UPDATED 2018-06-22]

Instructions:
FYI, you can chart a constant mix, equal-weighted index of BTC and ETH in tradingview with the ticker:
BTCUSD^0.5*ETHUSD^0.5

To base the index to 100 on Jan 1. 2017, multiply by 1.14:
1.14*BTCUSD^0.5*ETHUSD^0.5
If you want to change the mix in the ticker, simply change the exponent in the ticker.

e.g.
BTC 60%, ETH 40%: BTCUSD^0.6*ETHUSD^0.4
BTC 80%, ETH 20%: BTCUSD^0.8*ETHUSD^0.2
