Gowdy takes issue with Trump's attacks on Mueller: "I don't know what else Mueller was supposed to do, other than what he did. When a prosecutor comes in contact w/evidence of a crime, what are you supposed to do other than refer it to the appropriate jurisdiction?"
Gowdy says he thinks it would be inappropriate for Trump to fire Rosenstein because of the Mueller investigation: "If he's upset with Rosenstein b/c he wants to get at Bob Mueller... then no I don't think that's appropriate."
Gowdy is critical of Trump's pardon of Scooter Libby: "He was convicted of a false statement and obstruction of justice. Those are things that you want to dissuade people from doing all the time."
Gowdy, who has read original FBI memo that launched Trump investigation, says he is persuaded it was justified.
