1. Things that make other things make sense: The Other Mike Rogers
2. This is not the good Mike Rogers (NSA), Admiral Mike Rogers; this thread is about the other Mike Rogers (former congressman). There was always something sketchy about this Mike Rogers.
3. an old re-tweet by @almostjingo reminded me of his involvement.
4. The Other Mike Rogers was brought on to the Trump campaign by Chris Christie, presumably for National Security insight etc. After the election he was on President-elect Trump's transition team - discussions of the same....
5. Sketchy Mike Rogers was always a guy of dubious Deep State bona-fides. Those went deep on the Benghazi research knew Sketchy Mike Rogers was part of the institutional deep state apparatus.
6. During the Libya and Syria boondoggles by Hillary Clinton (DoS) and Leon Panetta (CIA), joint mission between State and CIA, ie. Operation Zero Footprint, sketchy Mike Rogers was part of the oversight.
7. Sketchy Mike Rogers was Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, and as a consequence of his position therein, he was also part of the 2012 Gang of Eight.
8. When President Obama authorized the Libya fiasco, he signed a finding memo authorizing the CIA to conduct covert operations. Sketchy Mike Rogers was part of the congressional oversight over that mission.
9. Sketchy Mike Rogers and the HPSCI minority chair Democrat, Rep. C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger (Md.) were the oversight crew on the House side. Senator Saxby Chambliss Burr and Diane Feinstein were on the Senate Side.
10. FUBAR. All of it, and all of them. Deep State. Sketchy, the entire crew.
11. Remember all of the reports about the FBI delay in arrival at Benghazi compound? Remember all that stuff post-attack? Sketchy, all of it.... nothing made sense. FBI? Hmmmm.... considering where we are today.... well ? breitbart.com/national-secur…
12. Back to Sketchy Mike Rogers...
13. Sketchy Mike was always looking to hide... obfuscate.... not get close to investigative stuff. Sketchy Mike and Dutch Ruppersberger (Md.) were deploying the Potomac Two-Step.... everyone knew it.
14. And remember almost everyone who was part of congressional oversight back then, quit soon AFTER the Benghazi cover-up. The oversight gang-of-eight (Go8) curiously all bailed out of those cushy wing-back chairs.
15. Sketchy Mike quit. Dutch Ruppersberger quit. Cryin' John Boehner quit. Saxby Chambliss quit. Dirty Harry Reid quit. All were members of the tight oversight group; and all quit following the Benghazi SNAFU.
16. I don't mean to re-litigate Benghazi, but anyone who was following knew there was a cover-up afoot. Regardless of your level of knowledge therein, we all can agree it was very sketchy. All of it.
17. How this applies to the 2016 election is that all of the prior participants had various levels of leverage and compromise as an outcome of participating in the biggest Deep State event of the decade.
18. Leverage and Compromise is the traded currency of Washington DC.
19. Sketchy Mike wrote a ridiculous Benghazi report with Sketchy Dutch. theconservativetreehouse.com/2014/11/22/the…
20. Sketchy Mike and Sketchy Dutch provided Hillary Clinton and President Obama political cover. Then they quit....
21. Days after leaving, Sketchy Mike lands a job at CNN..... and later, thanks to Chris Christie, finds himself part of the Trump team.
22. After the election, Chris Christie is heading up the Transition Team, and Sketchy Mike is leading the national security parts.... Intelligence nominations, etc.
23. But then... something happened. About a week after the election Chris Christie was removed as Transition Chairman, and replaced with Vice-President-Elect Mike Pence. 🤔Hmmm? Seemed odd. A VP heading up the transition team? Curiouser and curiouser.... Suspicious.
24. Almost immediately thereafter, Sketchy Mike was kicked off the transition team. 🤔 Hmmm...? The Deep State was not pleased --> washingtonpost.com/blogs/post-par…
25. Deep State not happy with Sketchy Mike removal. washingtonpost.com/blogs/post-par…
26. Interestingly, with hindsight, there seems to be an explanation for the removal of Sketchy Mike....
27. Someone was coming to meet with President-Elect Trump. Obviously a phone call, or some kind of contact would be needed to set up the meeting in advance....
28. The Trump Tower meeting was requested by a top official from the Intelligence Community. However, the meeting was not cleared by any other member of the Obama intelligence community, or even the officials boss, DNI James Clapper. This official was breaking ranks....
29. NSA Director Admiral Mike Rogers traveled to Trump Tower without telling anyone he was going. It was completely unknown to the rest of the Obama intelligence community.... until AFTER it took place. reuters.com/article/us-usa…
30. Once again, Deep State was not happy. washingtonpost.com/world/national…
31. The next day, the new head of the President Trump Transition Team and the new head of the Intelligence Advisory Group, move the entire transition operation out of Trump Tower and headed to Bedminister New Jersey. washingtontimes.com/news/2016/nov/…
32. 🤔... Remember, contrast this information against what is demonstrably certain now. Compare what we know now to what we didn't know then. scribd.com/document/34954…
33. As they say... hindsight is 20/20:
34.
35.
36. The point to takeaway is this: Sketchy Mike is a "Republican", and two days before NSA Mike Rogers met with the President Elect, Sketchy Mike was removed from the equation.... And never returned in any capacity, E.V.E.R.
37. So when people talk about "Republicans" and the Trump administration, as if everyone GOP isn't -or couldn't be- part of the soft coup attempt, don't forget the lesson of Sketchy Mike....
38. It's almost certain that Sketchy Mike was part of the apparatus of corrupt allies the unified deep state was leveraging to destroy the only person who DC sees as an existential risk.
39. And if the group of non-corrupted people within Washington DC is that small, well, ask yourself what would the rest of the entire apparatus do to remove their adversary?
40. That's the lesson of "Sketchy Mike".
