Kurz und vereinfacht zur Funktionsweise:
Der "Exposure Notification Service" benutzt Bluetooth LE auf dem Mobiltelefon. Ein Telefon sendet ca. 4x pro Minute eine kurze Nachricht in die Welt, die einen 128bit Code enthält. Dieser Code heisst Rolling Proximity Identifier (RPI).

First up, @rossjanderson underlines that it is key to know what will happen to all the data after the emergency, also the data collected through conventional manual methods and it is concerning that we do not have the right legal safeguards in place.

😱 Hätte nicht gedacht, dass sich mein Wunsch: "schnelles Ende der zentralen #CoronaApp u Ersatz durch datenschutzfreundliche dezentrale Variante so schnell erfüllt! Veröffentlicht bei @tagesschau am 24.4., erfüllt am 25.4.2020. #DankeMerkel (o. @jensspahn o. wer auch immer).
Die Bundesregierung hat richtig entschieden. Min. @jensspahn erzählte im Bundestag vom Lernen in der Pandemie - dieser Schlussstrich unter die zentrale Variante der #CoronaApp ist wohl ein solches Beispiel.
Mit der dezentralen Variante bekommt die App eine echte Chance. 👏👏👏
