The biggest resource a country has especially a developing one like ours is it's youthful population. As a young man at 28, I was elected Minister of Supplies & Marketing. 5 years later, the enormous task of serving as the country's Finance Minister came calling at the age of 33.
This was an uphill task especially given the economic situation that the country was facing at the time. We were able to put the country back on the right track.
I am telling the above story to show our youth that through commitment and dedication, we can transform our country whenever we are faced with challenges. We can transform from a "Bora Uchumi" to an "Uchumi Bora na Pesa Mfukoni" economy.

Happy #InternationalYouthDay

On #InternationalYouthDay, I want to talk about the pandemic that has been facing the youth of India since long before #COVID started - the pandemic of loneliness - through the story of a student I met as part of the #YuvaaRoadshowofKindness last year. (TW: Suicide)

1/ I met Rohit (name changed) at an engineering college, where he told me about the relationship he had had with his father. His father was the kind of man who'd only be 'there' for his son during exam results, to find out how his son fared, & to tell him how he could do better.
2/ This would leave Rohit feeling alienated from his father, because he was more than his marks, and his relationship with his father should have been more than a transaction. So when his father wanted him to do engineering after his Boards, he rebelled and took up medical.

The theme for the #IYD2020MyK
#internationalyouthday 2020 is #youthengagement, this is timely and in my opinion, we must not wait until 17th August to remember the young people.

The youth population of every nation is the most active and the most [productive] percentage
of it's human capital.

As a matter of basic economics, the human factor in the production process is very valuable, such that when it is not properly developed or in short supply, the whole process us affected.
In understanding why nations differ in capabilities and wealth, as to why some nations are rich and some are poor, you may want to look at what importance a given nation attached to its Human Capital. Where you have a well developed human capital, limited resources are put into

The @UN #InternationalYouthDay Was made memorable by credible ranking officers of the @PoliceNG from the AIG, SARS Commissioner, Technical Adviser to the IG, Force PRO, PPRO Zone2, SARS Commanders & our host @koredebello, Speakers @zeal_a @yemusan1 #SafeSpaces4Youth #WhyEndSARS
Thanking @knowyourright99 also for his delightful opening speech and @citizen_gavel @NelsonJide for making there despite the heavy schedule and travel time. What could we have done without the backing of @MAVINRECORDS and the great talents at #Caspertainment? Appreciate U Casper!
The AIG said in his speech that not everyone is 100% healthy & we can not say that based on that, we should End everyone’s life. In as much as this is true, we MUST appreciate that we can not treat the dead, neither can the sick approach a hospital renowned for killing patients.

Jesus Christ cursed a Deceptive Tree! You’ll wonder what the modern day pharisee will say to that. “Can you imagine? And he called himself a Christian. Lol...He is a putrid Fraud.” But Christ set this record for deeper reasons. Poverty=Lack Of Productivity (P) & (P)=Fruitfulness.
Unfruitful people are dens Of Evil. They are engrossed with themselves and preoccupied by survival thoughts by all means at all cost. They don’t care who dies for them to make their living. They are ready tools in the hands of any demon. This is why leaders emancipate people.
We ask questions on track records of our aspirants not because of the importance of their toil but to check if they are fruitful, innovative, capable, credible educated, informed, empathetic and conscientious. Running for office must be an act of service not the creed of greed.
