I tempted fate by saying I was hoping for sleep. Soon enough alarms were sounding in the south of #Ukraine.
Suspected cruise missiles launched from #Russia's Black Sea Fleet, and #Odesa has reported explosions. Hopefully it's just air defence.

Good news is just coming in from #Odesa (RU: #Odessa) where it seems to be quiet now.
There were reported to be three targets - all three may have been shot down. I'm not hearing of damage yet.
#Zaporizhzhia and other regions on the border or near the front line remain at risk of S-300 bombing.
But for now it looks like the 3 or 4 cruise missiles launched by #Russia have been dealt with.

The all-clear has been sounded in #Odesa.
One explosion heard in #Zaporizhzhia, hopefully it's also air defence taking out one of #Russia's S-300s fired on the innocents.
Here's the current map of air alerts in #Ukraine approaching 03:00 there.
The all clear is being given in all regions of #Ukraine I understand.
Meanwhile in occupied #Zaporizhzhia, reports of a big explosion near #Tokmak. Just guessing, but it seems likely to me that #Ukraine worked out where S-300s were fired from and hit the launch team.

And #Ukraine's air force confirms they down all #Russia's objects of death last night.
Four Kalibr cruise missiles and four #Iran-made Shahed attack drones were fired towards the south and east of the country, most notably #Odesa.
This is likely to be the biggest explosion you'll see today.
#Russia's remote-controlled "kamikaze" T-54 tank, loaded with six tons of explosives, approaches #Ukraine lines.
Heavy fire slows it down. A mine stops it before a rocket finishes it off with devastating effect.
42 of #Russia's vehicles and fuel tanks were destroyed in the last 24 hours according to #Ukraine's daily stats. That's a huge number (average is about 14 a day)
Taking out fuel tanks and logictical vehicles was what defeated the invader in the battles for #Kyiv and #Kherson.

The update from British Intel today talks about #Russia's movement of its troops.

Vladimir Epifanov's SUV was hit when "a gas cylinder exploded" on the Yevpatoria highway.
Epifanov, his secretary and bodyguard are all badly injured
#Russia accuses #Ukraine of shelling which has killed a woman in #Belgorod' region this morning. Seven others are said to have been injured.
A rocket landed in #Valuiki, hitting parked cars.

Rail saboteurs have struck again. This time a number of relay cabinets were burned in the south of #Moscow, near the #Nagatinskaya station.
It's not known how badly transport was affected.
The #UN confirms #Russia continues to block humanitarian aid for victims of its #KakhovkaDam disaster, putting out an official statement.
This should be war crime and adds to the mountain of evidence that genocide is the goal, eradication of #Ukraine, its history and its people.

A blaze broke out at a multi-storey building in #Moscow.
It looks like renovations were taking place at the site on Ryazansky Prospekt, which is south-east of the centre of #Russia's capital.
Likely cause: smoking or insurance job.
A Dutch international footballer, who plays for Spartak Moskva (#Moscow) has been sentenced to 18 months jail for stabbing his cousin.
It's not clear whether #Russia will extradite Quincy Promes, but right now the club says he has time to appeal so the sentence doesn't apply yet
#Kherson is yet again trying to clear up after another night of heavy shelling.
Thankfully with air raid sirens blaring there were no injuries.

Some regions of #Ukraine at risk of cruise missile attack according to monitoring agencies. Sirens begin to sound.
Meanwhile explosions reported in occupied #Henichesk again. We always knew a lot of troops rest on the #Kherson coast awaiting deployment or rotating.

At least half a dozen helicopters heading towards #Mariupol' city.
Note how low to the ground they keep to avoid detection and missiles. There is no need to fly directly over the beach though as one of these did here, but the occupiers don't care about people of course.

Another senior officer of #Russia's army has died in #Ukraine.
Well over 500 of the Terrorist State's senior officers are known to have died - there are likely to be others not yet known about.
#Russia always denied when #Ukraine said harpoon missiles sunk the "Vasiliy Bekh" a year ago.
However, a monument for the sailors who died aboard the tugboat has been secretly unveiled in #Sevastopol. Photos taken by a relative appeared on social media.
One local website in #Russia earlier reported that the HQ of the Central Military Division burned down.
It's said to have happened in #Yelan in #Sverdlovsk region.
There've been no other pictures or independent reports and ura .ru only mentions one source. So I'm not convinced.
New drone photo shows a car packed with explosives on top of the #KakhovkaDam just a week before it was blown up.
#Ukraine's army passed the photo, taken 28 May, to @AP. It says one of the barrels is connected to a landmine; the cable went to the Russian-held side of the river
TG channel Astra publishes what it says is video proof that #Russia had illegal "basement prisons" throughout the occupied territories.
Astra has discovered 15 such basements used to detain men who refuse to fight. No trial, no protocol, oh and nNo toilets - plastic bottles .
Media in #Russia delight in its hackers "bringing down" the European Investment Bank. They claim it will take 10 days to get the Bank up and running again.

#Finland may stop financial aid to countries which support #Russia's aggression.
Willie Tavio, incoming Minister of Foreign Trade and Development, did not name specific states but said "African countries have been seen supporting Russia. They will be watched."

Four southern regions are currently under air alerts with drones either buzzing around or expected.
There is also a danger of missiles for #Kherson #Mykolaiv #Dnipropetrovsk and #Zaporizhzhia regions.
There is also the possibility of the enemy using attack UAVs!
