A year ago today, I walked into a meeting with my then-manager and handed him my 4-week notice. I left the role in product development in a digital marketing eLearning company to pursue my dream of writing long-form, advanced content for businesses. (1/6)
(More commonly known as freelance writing).

I wanted to be independent and flexible and hand-pick the clients I want to work with. I also craved personal and professional growth and learning and aimed to get paid well enough to be able to set aside the time for it. (2/6)
I feel grateful & fortunate beyond words to be able to say I've comfortably arrived at that point. I still do have *A LOT* to learn, from energy+time management, productivity, professional knowledge & many other points of view. I'm definitely *STILL* just starting out.

BUT (3/6)
I want to slowly give back to the freelance & marketing community. So if you're a freelance writer:

1️⃣ Send me your name, email address, type of clients you serve (B2B/B2C+industry) & type of writing you do (i.e. content, web copy, emails..) - I want to send you work! (4/6)
2️⃣ If you've been freelancing for under a year (or longer but you struggle a lot), and you want to ask someone a bunch of questions about it, tweet/DM me. I'm hoping to provide (free) mentorship to a few people based on my experience so far.

Help me spread the word 😍 (5/6)
And finally, I've received SO much support, kindness and generosity over the past year from the marketing community all across the internet, which I'm super grateful for. I hope you can help me pay it forward! 🎊 (6/6)
