That is an interesting euphemism. Putin also has a "bold vision of executive power"! The voters had better alert Trump to the limits of his office while they still can.
I want to expand on this because some replies don't take it seriously on a practical level. It's a race. The autocrat works non-stop to weaken constraints on his power, both legal & traditional limits.
Each time he succeeds in doing something that hasn't been done before, it changes the framework of what is acceptable and creates precedent for next time. What's normal keeps shifting.
The executive has nearly unlimited ability to keep doing this. It's essential to limit his ability to increase & abuse his own powers, to claw them back asap instead of just hoping to wait him out and that the next president will be nicer.
If you think Trump's immigration, trade, pardons, and foreign policy are shocking shifts in traditional US presidential behavior, what he will do during the election process will be even more dangerous.
