A cautionary and important note for #CEOs ...

Does #Talent expect differentiated treatment ?

Hungry People are constantly in search of better Restaurants for faster delivery of quality food.... so does  talent.
If you do not deliver #MeaningfulConnections and #ValuedEngagement to #HungryTalent in time, they go out in search for better #organisations to work for...where talent will be recognised, valued and served faster.
Don't then suddenly wake up & do STAY SURVEYS when faced with talent attrition
Generally,talent hates waiting unrecognised,for long time in serpentine queues.Undifferentiated treatment of talent blunts its cutting edge.Develop multiple #tracks

Don't let #joggers block #sprinters

Today on the #FirstSundayOfTheYear At about 4 am(I would Say Pre-Dawn) I heard someone speaking to me “Wake up,You cannot be Sleeping & Making This Wonderful Day Short" by Sleeping till late
I Woke up immediately looking for Where the Voice came from? I found that This Voice was from Within me. By now my Slumber had Vanished and I was fully awake . I left the bed, made a cup of tea and sat out in the balcony, enjoying the cool breeze and sipping my morning Tea
Various Thoughts started to Swim within me and then the below happened.

My Heart asked me a question. "Where is Success."

My Mind immediately Replied to My Heart, you, My Friend always Run to the World of Fantasy.

I read a beautiful #ShortStory and found it #TooGoodNotToShare

Air Commodore Vishal was a Jet Pilot. In a combat mission his fighter plane was destroyed by a missile. He however ejected himself and parachuted safely.
He won acclaims and appreciations from many.

After five years one day he was sitting with his wife in a restaurant. A man from another table came to him & said "You're Captain Vishal! You flew jet fighters. You were shot down!"

“How in the world did you know that?” asked Vishal
“I packed your parachute," the man smiled and replied.

Vishal gasped in surprise and gratitude and thought if parachute hadn't worked, I wouldn’t be here today. Vishal couldn't sleep that night, thinking about that man.

People say “why do you only care when police kill people but not when black people kill each other.” Most of those people are trolls but in case anyone has this question in good faith I’ll humor you and address it quickly.
1) you don’t know what people in Chicago do every day to fight intracommunity gun violence. You know nothing about it. You don’t know about the work we do in education, community mental health, mentorship, or other long-term comprehensive efforts. Educate yourself.
one small example: no, you’re not gonna see me tweet BLACK FOLKS R KILLING EACH OTHER. But when you see me up in arms about making sure Assata’s Daughters has gardening supplies or school closings, it’s bc I understand that shooters are hungry people & kids with no schools.

Important note about today's Iowa Supreme Court decision striking down the state's 3-day waiting period to obtain an abortion: It is based on the Iowa Constitution, not the US Constitution. iowacourts.gov/courtcases/439…
And since the Iowa Supreme Court gets the final says on the Iowa Constitution, that's that on that.
Expect more of this focus on state constitutions and state supreme courts on the left as #SCOTUS moves right.

Yesterday late afternoon #Russia/n forces took 3 positions in Qusseyr and Juseh and established checkpoints. #Hezbollah, not informed of the Russian presence, came close to these forces and asked their immediate pull out+
Following the direct intervention of President Bashar al-Assad, the Russian force pulled out this morning and avoided any clash with #Hezbollah in the area.

hezbollah maantin and kept all positions. The #Russia/n move was not coordinated.+

#Hezbollah did not...I repeat, did not pull out one single element from the area.

I spoke to people on the ground: The Russian decision was unclear and considered unwelcome by the forces on the ground. Still, many elements of this move are unclear.

Important note about this: A lot of the post-FMA US economy is based on the idea that most (white) people's main store of wealth would be in their homes. This makes any solution to a housing crisis intrinsically controversial: lowered costs would make many people lose everything.
The two big things which set the value of homes are regional scarcity and school districts. But why are schools in one neighborhood so much better than schools nearby? Because schools are funded primarily by local property taxes.
This isn't a coincidence: it's tied up with the history of redlining and post-Plessy school segregation. If school funding is tied to the district, then money from (relatively wealthy, white) districts won't be given to (relatively poor, black) districts.

Nurses are reporting “still not water or electricity in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico since Maria.” Nurses have set up a clinic at a FEMA site and I’m quoting here “This was also FEMA’s first day there,” this is a report of today folks! Nearly 3weeks after hurricane!
I can't stress this enough folks! This nurses are leaving their children & families, taking their vacation time to go help our brothers & sisters in #PuertoRico they'll have no water, no electricity & no roof over their heads for weeks! This is a true humanitarian crisis.
