The irony.

Actually the vitriol against the real President @HillaryClinton is what's unfair & ridiculous.

She's worked for decades, and harder, for causes of more worth than @SusanSarandon.

This tweet shows a breathtaking lack of understanding about what has happened.

The very idea that you find it defensible that you supported a woman who is at best, an unkind person who has always run as spoiler, who attended a dinner in Russia and sat at a table with all bad guys, including Putin is telling.

@rosaclemente

2/
Have you ever stopped to ask yourself what Jill Stein did to merit being sat at the same table as Vladimir Putin? US Senators go to Russia and don't get seated with Putin.

Have you asked yourself why Putin would even know who fuck she is?

3/

@rosaclemente
More importantly, have you ever asked yourself why she would be willing to sit w/ him? Since the far left's only acceptable measure for politicians is perfection, shouldn't she be burned at the stake for sitting there peaceably with a known & verified monster?

@rosaclemente

4/
I know it doesn't feel good to think you might have been wrong about such a big thing, but doubling down in this atmosphere given all we've learned shows a monumental level of the bad kind of pride.

Or have you not been paying attention because it destroys your narratives?

5/
If you think the Russian story messes with your narratives think about what it's done for America's as a nation.

That you were taken in by propaganda & lies, & based your vote on such, should give you pause, but not admitting that you could have it all wrong is just dumb.

6/
I mean Jill Stein has spent actual time defending Russia / Putin. Lots of it.

And if you aren't offended by that alone then it shows either a lack of actual study about the country trying to take down yours, or a lack ethical standards like that you accuse others of.

7/
Clinton is not perfect, but no one is, but she is not anywhere near the person the right has painted her to be, and the fact that the far left has so readily adopted their talking points is nothing short of perplexing.

@rosaclemente

8/
Most of the stuff pinned on Clinton is obviously bullshit, & much of it stems from a fundamental lack of understanding about how decisions are made in our government, & the limits of power that come w/ each of the positions Clinton has held, particularly Secretary of State.

9/
But again, facts often interfere with narratives, particularly when those narratives are completely wrong.

I know you think that capitalism is evil, socialism is sainted, and who adheres to what philosophy determines whether a person is good or bad, but that's insipid.

10/
The truth is that all of them in their purest forms bring out the worst in human beings, and no single system is adaptable to all ways of living, areas, or even environments.

It makes the most sense to create hybrids from the best parts of each according to what works.

11/
I bring this up because the far left seems to think that the only way to achieve something close to economic fairness in this nation requires the demonization of anyone who shows sympathy or connection to capitalism.

12/
Of course, this is all complete hypocrisy. Your economic fairness Democratic Socialists / Socialists leaders & those further afield on the fringe left are all multi-millionaires.

Sanders. Stein. Sarandon.

They have benefitted greatly, & have held tight to those benefits.

13/
And @BernieSanders conveniently doesn't even "believe" in giving to charity because he thinks it's the government's job to make up the shortfalls in people's lives.

But the government doesn't. And likely never will.

Sanders keeps accruing assets & kids keep being hungry.

14/
It's the weirdest thing I've ever heard. It lives in the same moral outhouse with those on the right who argue they don't want their tax dollars to be spent on social programs b/c of fucking rugged individualism.

If the far left & right had their way no one would be helped.

15/
The notion that @BernieSanders or @DrJillStein are more moral or better people than @HillaryClinton is a complete joke. Neither are overly kind. BOTH, in fact, can be quite the opposite. They expect others to adhere to moral and economic codes they don't hold themselves too.

16/
Where was the outrage when Sanders had to be cajoled into hiring more minorities for his campaign when it was discovered that only 9% of his staff were minorities?

Or when uncovered that in his entire congressional career he never once had a black staff member?

17/
Where was the outrage when it was announced that a study of of Senate salary practices showed Sanders had the highest gender pay inequity in the entire Senate? This included all Republicans, even McConnell.

Crickets.

All talk and preaching, but in practice Sanders fails.

18/
And Stein? She's a supposed medical doctor who supports anti-vaxxers. What more do you need to know?

I mean come ON.

The far left will twist themselves into knots trying to deny all of this, but most of it is self evident.
