1. Stunning (to Democrats) Poll on Immigration

Findings from a new Harvard-Harris poll conducted by former Clinton pollster and strategist Mark Penn are highly unlikely to get much of a coverage in MSM outlets. You will see why.
2. "Do you think that people who make it across our border illegally should be allowed to stay in the country or sent home?"

Sent Home: 64% (83% Rep, 47% Dem, 66% Ind)
Allowed to Stay: 36%
3. "Do you think that parents with children who make it across our border illegally should be allowed to stay in the country or sent home?"
Sent Home: 61% (81% Rep, 40% Dem, 66% Ind)
Allowed to Stay: 39%
4. The vast majority (88%) opposed separating illegal immigrant families while in the U.S.

OTOH, 55% (76% Rep, 39% Dem, 55% Ind) said illegal immigrant families should be held in custody "until a judge reviews their case" — essentially the new Trump family detention policy.
5. The end result was that a substantial majority said illegal border crossers, and the children they brought, should be returned to their home countries.

To that end, 80% (84% Rep, 79% Dem, 78% Ind) favored hiring more immigration judges "to process people in custody faster."
6. Penn found, "Mostly they want people who cross the border illegally to be turned around and returned home efficiently."

That's not all. Penn's polling also found other results broadly favorable to the Trump approach to immigration. Let us review them too.
7. "Do you think we need stricter or looser enforcement of our immigration laws?"

Stricter: 70% (92% Rep, 51% Dem, 69% Ind)
Looser: 30%
8. "Support or oppose building a combination of physical and electronic barriers across the U.S.-Mexico border." [i.e. Build The Wall]

Support the barrier: 60% (92% Rep, 39% Dem, 54% Ind)
Oppose the barrier: 40%
9. "Is current border security inadequate?"

Inadequate: 61% (73% Rep, 49% Dem, 60% Ind)
Adequate: 39%
10. "Many people entering the U.S. illegally claim asylum. Should claims of asylum be allowed for people escaping local violence and crime, or should asylum be limited to those who can show govt sponsored persecution?"

Limited to persecution: 55% (70% Rep, 41% Dem, 58% Ind)
11. Overwhelming Opposition to Sanctuary Cities

"Should cities that arrest illegal immigrants for crimes be required to notify immigration authorities or be prohibited from notifying immigration authorities?"

Required to notify authorities: 84% (94% Rep, 76% Dem, 83% Ind)
12. Widespread support for the fundamental provisions of the immigration bills, based on Trump's "four pillars," that were recently rejected by the House of Representatives.
13. "Would you favor or oppose a congressional deal that gives DACA children work permits and a path to citizenship in exchange for preference to merit based immigration, elimination of diversity visa lottery, and funding for The Wall?"

Favor: 63% (66% Rep, 63% Dem, 59% Ind)
14. "Overall, Americans want to show compassion for those that are here, but want much tougher enforcement of immigration laws," Penn said.

"They want to solve the problem of illegal immigration, not keep kicking the can down the road."
15. In every dimension of our immigration policy, most Americans are now closer to President Trump than the present-day Democratic Party.
16. Do you think MSM would keep news like this under wraps if the parties were reversed? Fake News is not always about misrepresentation. I contend it's predominantly about not covering facts that don't fit the MSM partisan narrative, and accentuating the ones which do.

The END
17. Here is the detail on "Abolish ICE" campaign to disband U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

69% (78% Rep, 59% Dem, 73% Ind) said ICE should not be abolished.

[I somehow missed this question.]
