Don't sleep on Bud McFarlane. Before this is over, this Iran-Contra criminal turned Russian-pipeline advocate—who was at the Mayflower (April 2016), Trump Tower (December 2016) and secret Trump-lobbying meetings on nuclear tech for the Middle East (January 2017)—will be relevant. 
2/ McFarlane was at a VIP cocktail hour in April 2016 with Russia's ambassador, Trump, Manafort, Kushner, Sessions and other Trump brass—and thereafter sat for a Trump speech co-written by another advocate of freeing up Russian oil/gas. His movements during 2016 should be traced.
3/ By December he's meeting with Flynn—and Trump?—at Trump Tower and effectively choosing Trump's Deputy NSA (his protege—K.T. McFarland—who interestingly would later be offered an ambassadorship to Singapore, one of the 4 nations at the VIP event McFarlane was at in April 2016).
4/ By January 2017 he's entangled with Flynn, Tom Barrack, and apparently Erik Prince in an effort to remake the international energy scene by secretly lobbying Trump. The problem: the nations lobbying Trump in January 2017 were also secretly lobbying him during the campaign.
5/ Moreover, Flynn participated in the lobbying effort as early as '15—when he began advising the Trump campaign—so reporters need to find out when McFarlane came aboard the team. Before the Mayflower VIP meeting? And who gave him the ceremonial curved sword he had at that event?
6/ Trump's presidential campaign was a boondoggle by hostile foreign powers to gain influence in D.C.—and it appears their agents included Flynn, Manafort, Barrack, Manafort, Prince, McFarlane, Nader, Gates, and a host of others we'll be discussing more and more as this unfolds.
7/ McFarlane, who had "VIP" access to Trump both before *and* after the election, prior to 2011 "founded Global Energy Investors LLC, which sponsored energy and environmental projects in....the Philippines, Russia..." (Both nations were at the Mayflower.) marketwired.com/press-release/…
8/ In February 2014 he joined "Fuel Freedom," which wants open oil/gas markets worldwide and the expansion of nuclear tech—music to Russia's ears (wants: a trans-European pipeline and an end to crippling oil/LNG sanctions) and Saudi Arabia's (US nuclear tech in Russian reactors).
9/ So who was he lobbying at the Mayflower? His protege K.T. McFarland was at an event in Cleveland at the 2016 RNC with Sessions, Kislyak, Gordon, Phares, and Page—was McFarlane there also? Who did he meet with, besides Flynn and McFarland, at Trump Tower during the transition?
10/ McFarlane is one of *very* few in the US who *has a background in criminally interfacing with nations hostile to the US*—so what the hell is he doing hanging around Trump at a time Trump is accused of doing exactly that? How did he get both the NSA *and* Deputy NSA he wanted?
CONCLUSION/ Here's my point: the media has talked a bit about Flynn (though with respect to *Russia*, not so much nuclear tech and the Middle East) but if it were doing its job we'd know the movements and meetings and ambitions of *Tom Barrack and Bud McFarlane* from 2015 to now.
PS/ Every aspect of the Mayflower event on April 27, 2016 was a scandal: who breached protocol to attend it; who lied about how/why it was set up; who lied about whether they attended—and yet *two years later* we don't even have a full list of the 24 people at the VIP pre-event.
