Show me where I said there was.

Look, I live in a blue state and no children of my own so, in the end, I am not affected by this.

This was a pre-planned ruling whose objective is to eventually move it up to the Supreme Court.

1/
When it reaches the Court, and Roberts having dismantled key parts of the 14th Amendment in his ACA ruling, the conservative majority will be able to argue public education is not compelled by the Constitution and therefore state governments have such jurisdiction.

2/
They will further argue that the federal government has no jurisdiction to monitor or control whether a state provides an education nor the standards and practices of those that do.

This will lead to the dissolution of the Department of Education.
This, of course, will pave the way for Creationism to enter some systems.

It's also important to note that Roberts' tinkering with the Interstate Commerce portions of the 14th Amendment was a conscious effort to provide the basis for the Court to reverse Brown v BOE.

4/
Which, of course mean that red states and conservatism will ultimately lose everything.

Welcome to the Hunger Games y'all
