After signing a cooperation agreement with the United States the Ecuadorian Govt. decided on March 27th to cut off Assange's access to the internet. Jamming devices were also put in place in case Assange got any other ideas. #Unity4J

Assange had been exercising his freedom to speak and defending Catalan separatist politician Carles Puigdemont against Germany’s detention of him, and in the process decrying the European Arrest Warrant. #Unity4J

In the United States a Grand Jury has been impaneled to indict Assange on espionage charges under which he would face 45 years in prison. Both US AG Jeff Sessions and US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo have publicly said that extraditing Assange is a priority. #Unity4J
