Great piece by @jsolomonReports that almost certainly shows that Fusion GPS's Glenn Simpson committed perjury - TWICE

Solomon has obtained an internal email from PETER STRZOK to FBI leadership, sent on/around Jan 10 2017, the day of the dossier leak to @BuzzFeed

It shows STRZOK comparing that version of the Steele dossier to *one he already had, given to the FBI by Simpson* (& @DavidCornDC too)
As @jsolomonReports notes: the problem with that is SIMPSON **categorically denied ever approaching the FBI or knowing about any version of the dossier even being given to the FBI**

He denied this under oath, on two separate occasions, to both House & Senate committees
Pro tip @RepGoodlatte - if STRZOK really does publicly testify tomorrow, probably a good idea to get him on the record, under oath confirming that SIMPSON did "approach" the FBI and give them the dossier?

Then you can refer SIMPSON to @TheJusticeDept for perjury....

Ever since the beginning of the 20th Century, the Executive has, to one degree or another, been the dominant branch of government in large part due to the explosion of the Federal bureaucracy.

(THREAD) BREAKING: Over DOJ and FBI objection, the Nunes Memo—compiled by GOP staffers of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence—has been released by Trump and Nunes. Here's my analysis of it—as an attorney and someone who's researched the Steele Dossier for a year.
1/ First, here's a link to the controversial document—a document whose release required Nunes to invoke a HPSCI rule never used in *40 years*, and required a sitting president to go to war against his FBI for the first time since the FBI was led by Hoover. docs.house.gov/meetings/IG/IG…
2/ Second, understand that it's common practice in the justice system for law enforcement to use informants who have conflicts of interest to secure a warrant. Here, the informant, former MI6 Russia desk chief Chris Steele, didn't know who his client was and had no such conflict.
