Moon explains away NK's aggressive language ("gangster-like") & reluctance to implement denuclearization: "Opinions are divided but this is a normal discussion process. I believe real negotiations have now begun. This is part of NK's negotiating strategy"

As WSJ reports, Moon believes "NK is looking to build trust and an end to hostilities," which is different from past demands when NK asked for economic concessions outright. So Moon thinks NK-US relations are still in the "getting to know you" stage.

Understandable as you can get cold feet when you haven't broken the ice. Plus SK Prime Minister Ri NY chimes in: "We're in a preliminary phase of completely denuclearizing the K peninsula. When there're hiccups, media will play them up to induce anxiety"

But there's another connection to Marina Bay Sands for Moon. The contractor for the hotel-casino was SK's Ssangyong Engineering & Construction, which finished the project known as "modern day leaning Towers of Pisa" due to 52° angles of concave towers
Pretty nice distraction for Moon as his approval rating dips to the 60% range for the first time in 5 months due largely to disappointing employment figures. Moon's cabinet members admitted that some of this may be due to minimum wage increases implemented

Japan declines to attend a naval event in Jeju after repeated calls by SK not to arrive with its Rising Sun Flag symbolizing Imperial Japan. However the real reason why it chose not to attend is more intricate.

U-shaped behavior: this is when someone gets super good at something, gets worse for awhile, then improves again

#languageteachers see this a lot and it's frustrating when you think, wait, "Student X just used the past tense perfectly all quarter! What are they doing now?!"
Overapplication: Maybe your kid or student learned how to form plurals! Except now, everything is marked (or double marked) for plural and you may hear things like gooses, dogses, rices, etc

Although it was 'cleared' as a '#HumanitarianMission', there was another more sinister purpose. Notice that these are #NK soldiers in the photos - clearly in some kind of 'Ops' room. #QAnon

@Google was there to show-off new servers they had set up. Why would the #US be helping #NK - a hostile threat? #QAnon
