Man was sitting with US media delegation.
The man identified himself as a reporter for @thenation. He rode over with us on the press bus to the presidential palace and had been given credentials to attend by @WhiteHouse officials.
He is identified as Sam Husseini, who had at least once written an op-ed for the liberal magazine. His real job is with @accuracy and he's formerly media director for the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee.
According to its web site @accuracy is a non-governmental organization "that encourages mainstream media outlets to interview progressive scholars and policy analysts."
No self-claimed reporter just waltzes into this kind of event. For the #TrumpPutinSummit today at least these three credentials issued and authorized by @WhiteHouse/@SecretService and #Finland government were required for entry to the presidents' news conference.
