The new ward 13 is roughly the equivalent of the current ward 15 (Eglinton-Lawrence), with the 401 to the north, Eglinton to the south, Bathurst to the east, and rail tracks to the west.

Arthur Lofsky, who was on Mayor Tory's transition team, strongly hints that Mike Colle will be running:

(Usually, longtime politicians endorse a successor at the same time they announce their retirement, but it would make sense that Colle wouldn't want to emphasize the intra-family shuffling.)

At this point, Bomshteyn is likely looking at at least three challengers, and will not be acclaimed.

(I probably should've phrased this tweet in a less declarative manner, e.g., "As things stand as of this morning, this man is set to be acclaimed…")
