People have been talking a lot about 'Medicare for All'. Do people realize what Medicare ACTUALLY COVERS TODAY?

I don't think most people do.
Part A is hospital insurance, where you pay:

There is no premium for most people.

For inpatient hospital stays, there is a $1,316 deductible per benefit period
Part B is medical insurance.

Standard Medicare Part B premium is $134 per month.

A deductible.

Pay 20% of the Medicare-approved amount for some types of care.
Medicare Part C is Medicare Advantage.
Medicare Part D is prescription coverage.

Note that you don't get prescription coverage under Medicare, per se. You can purchase a drug plan.
It is really useful for people to understand what is good, bad, and complicated about Medicare.

Many don't really understand the complexities.
