If you see a woman in your organisation falling into a role that you know is beneath her capabilities... Just say no.
If you let the most competent and innovative people in your company spend their time organising your personal calendar or making the **** tea ... it's a poor use of resources and will hold your company back.

I don't have a party to run / election to win, so maybe it's rich of me to stand on principle; maybe I'm naive, but...
I'm not willing to pretend that a good Brexit deal is possible just because I'm scared people (who I should have won over on Brexit) might think I'm ruining it.
I get why some might choose that due to their own strategic priorities. But if we go down the path of "keep trying Brexit until every last person is convinced it can't work":
a) We risk crashing out.
b) People would blame the EU not Brexit #HowWeGotInThisMess
c) It's dishonest
🔻The Tories want to endanger the Belfast Agreement which the EU won't allow. And even this Brexit will be rejected.
🔻Labour's Brexit must meet the 6 tests. That means Single Market & Customs Union. Parliament would never approve that for the same reasons we're stuck now.

When women have to take charge and fend for themselves, they lose the little girl inside they truly wish to embody

Everyday, women around the world face different forms of oppression and harassment for simply being women. From being catcalled by men on the street to possibly being physically ....
... abused, sexually assaulted or even raped.
You may not think catcalling and heinous acts of sexual violence are related, but they actually have more in common than meets the eye. Both behaviours are connected by sexual objectification.
Men tend to treat women as a mere object of sexual desire without regard to their personality or dignity and this act is akin to dehumanizing and it is unacceptable.

According to the ONS, the #GenderPayGap has continued to fall this year and is now at a record low. Despite this, '#EqualPayDay 2018’ has remained at 10th November - the same date as each of the past two years. That’s the first clue there's something fishy here... (1/5)
This is because, instead of comparing median wages (the number in the middle), the Fawcett Society uses the mean (the average of all the data). This has the effect of giving more weight to the incomes of a relatively small number of high earners at the top of companies... (2/5).
That might be OK if you want to focus (say) on CEO salaries and the underrepresention of women on boards. But it is unrepresentative of the rest of the workforce, where the #GenderPayGap has already narrowed significantly, especially for women under 39 (3/5)

Summary: The government’s new pay gap reporting measures fail to provide any meaningful insight into equal or fair pay for men and women in the workplace.
Not only are the measurements useless; they are also problematic. Incentives created include hiring fewer women into junior or lower paid roles – regardless of their qualifications – to achieve the closest calculation a company can get to a 0% #paygap. iea.org.uk/publications/t…
On the one semi-informative #paygap measurement (proportion of men and women getting a bonus payment), our calculation of FTSE 100 companies to report so far shows 36 companies gave bonuses to a higher percentage of their female staff, v 31 for male staff. iea.org.uk/publications/t…

A Thread for Men: When your #woman is #emotional, #crying or #stressed out, do not hold it against her. One of the lies of #feminism is that men and women are the same, including that we should process #emotions the same way. Reject the lie. Listen and learn in the posts below.
#Women have much greater #hormonal fluctuations each month than #men do. Simply put, a woman's thought life and #emotions are more prone to high highs, and low lows. This isn't a "design flaw" but rather how #God made a #woman to be in touch with the needs of small #children.
Nothing is more short-sighted as a #man than viewing a #woman as an "overly emotional" or "flawed" version of a man's thought process or #emotions. A woman that does not let her emotions out will become very #passiveaggressive, #depressed or #angry. Your job is to be an #outlet.
