If anything, we're not elevating Q enough. Q still not discussed as serious nat'l security threat--despite inspiring at least 4 domestic attacks/security situations (betting more). People don't believe conspiracies b/c they're stupid/uneducated; need to stop discussing that way/1
Conspiracy works because it puts things that don't make sense into a framework, and tell you where you belong. It takes the place of other, more durable social structural frameworks when other things seem to have diminished. /2
QAnon is far more pervasive than anyone wants to admit, because it has been entirely siloed and entirely online. It's impact is nothing short of terrifying in such a narrow period of time, and everyone should wonder what it is, and linked to what else /3
