To understand why some people perceive the coordinated corporate action against Alex Jones to be deeply worrying, consider the following hypothetical country:
Its government guarantees all human rights as long as citizens do not live within autonomous communes.

98% of the population live within an authoritarian commune that exerts arbitrary justice.

Outside of this commune is desert and a few oases populated by trolls and monsters.
Such coordination suggests that those companies constitute an information cartel that increasingly controls what the majority of the population can know and who can hear what people have to say.

First they came for a loony conspiracy theorist, tomorrow they might come for you.
