Why are we acting like it’s the end of Trump if he gets caught saying a racial slur on tape? If torturing children, insulting the parents of one dead soldier and the wife of another, calling a sitting congresswoman stupid and ugly, admitting to sexually assaulting women...
...craving incest with his own daughter, mocking prisoners of war while being a draft dodger himself, mocking a reporter’s disability, and suggesting that Muslims be summarily executed with bullets soaked in pigs blood didn’t do it, what the hell makes you think this will?
...Trump will get caught on tape saying “I hate niggers and I hate God for making niggers” and his acolytes will say “It’s good to have a president that grapples with big religious questions.”
...Better yet, a non-trivial percentage of Trump’s base would say “Gosh, it never occurred to me to blame God for niggers! I have to pray on this.”
