Yesterday the #PondyLitFest closed with a wonderful recitation! Listen in.

It was for about 20 min, so this will be a thread.

The handsome young gentlemen are from a veda pathashala in Karuvadikuppam in Pondicherry.
The pathashala has 40 students who learn Yajurveda and ShaivAgamas.
They spend 50% of their time in regular studies (ie, modern schooling) and the rest of the 50% learning the scriptures.
The program is fully residential and is completely free for the students.
This is all thanks to Sri Raja Sastrigal who has arranged for the funding of the pathashala.
To think, at one point in time, the length and breadth of BhArata reverberated with these verses.
The accumulation of such divine grace is probably why we survived onslaught after onslaught.
Here endeth the lesson.
But what was the lesson?

Here you go.
On popular demand, have uploaded the full video on YouTube. 🙏🙏🙏
