Today with my #WalkToTemple trip, I realise that I have completed a unique milestone.

In the list of top 10 tallest Gopurams in India (possibly the world), I've covered the 8 that are in Tamil Nadu.

Once I visit Hampi (10th) and Murudeshwar (2nd), I'd have covered all 10. 🙂
9. South Gopuram of Meenakshi Amman temple.
Height: 170 feet tall.
8. Ammani Amman Gopuram, Annamalaiyar temple, Tiruvannamalai.
Height: 171 feet tall.
7. Azhagar Kovil, Madurai
Height: 187 feet tall
(It's the high base that gives it height)
6. Rajagopuram, Ekambareswarar temple, Kanchipuram.
Height: 190 feet tall.
5. Rajagopuram, Ulagalantha Perumal Temple, Tirukkoyilur.
Height: 192 feet tall.
4. Sri Andal temple, Srivilliputhur.
Height: 193.5 feet tall.
3. Raja Gopuram, Annamalaiyar temple, Tiruvannamalai.
Height: 216.5 feet tall.
Rajagopuram, Ranganathaswamy temple, Sri Rangam.
Height: 239.5 feet tall.
