It legitimately makes me sad that some of the responses to this (even one female journalist!) are that real lives of female journalists would be boring.
Female journalists go into warzones. They do investigations that improve the lives of the vulnerable.

The men who are portrayed as journalists in movies are hard-charging geniuses with ink stains on their hands. The women are sleeping with their sources and struggling with their own insecurities. Every. Single. Time.
Anyway, remember when Spotlight won a god damn Oscar and no one slept with a source or went to work drunk?
