Forget everything you’ve been told about China.

Forget about the bans on crypto and blockchain.

It’s all nonsense.

2/ They aren’t backwards. They are plowing forward.

They aren’t in the past. They are making the future.

They aren’t closed. They have open arms and minds.

They changed me forever.

3/ I saw young people reading on the floor of the bookstore at 10pm surrounded by dozens of Chinese language books about blockchain and crypto. (Technical and social)

4/ I saw factories where women built tablets by hand. Smiling, treated well, working hard, playing ping pong and pool with their boss at lunch.

5/ I sat with a case manufacturing entrepreneur who prepared us wild grown green tea from his mother’s village. His structural engineer showing off his English for me. His laptop next to his boss’s tea pot.

6/ I experienced open arms, hospitality, and energy that changed me forever.

I saw a people craving the future and craving to be the ones to make it.

These are my people.

7/ I visited an ODM that designs crypto miners for China, Japan and now for my startup.

Their factory walls covered with the slogans “Dreams lead the future” “Teams are made up of hearts not people” “Confidence works wonders” “Never give up”

8/ We are lucky to be on a planet with people like this.

I'm lucky to be invited into their world.

Together we will make a new world. Our brothers and sisters who never give up, whose hearts build the future and whose dreams lead the way.

Thank you China. I miss you already.
