Dench: We should not romanticize the multiculturalism of the ancient society. Multiculturalism does not equate to tolerance. Scholars should not take part in myth-making. #PassagesVII
Dench: Scholars need to look beyond ethnic types and avoid nationalistic paradigm. Important to pay attention on the representation of different groups in the society, scholars should do better. Need to take part also in contemporary political discussions. #PassagesVII
