Yeah, I did within hours of the news breaking. She preyed on a 17 year-old. But let's be honest, Sweetie: you don't give a shit about the kid she exploited. You just feel threatened by feminists and feel totally comfortable using that kid's pain for your shitty agenda. Classy.
Women can be sexual predators and rapists and pedophiles, regardless of their relationship to the victim or "respectability" or whatever other nonsense.

And you know how I know this?
Because of the feminists in my life--and feminists everywhere--who have asserted, again and again, that sex crimes are mostly about power rather than sex.
The effort to slander the feminist movement over Asia Argento's conduct is yet another example of misogynists who only become concerned about boys and men when it's convenient to their agenda.
Asia Argento, as with any human being, can both be the survivor of a sex crime and perpetrate one. That the untold masses have convinced themselves otherwise speaks to an especially larger truth:
We don't listen to women. We don't listen to survivors. We don't listen to feminist theorists who have outlined, for decades, how power structures in our patriarchal system affect EVERYONE.
Boys and men can be raped, and girls and women can be rapists, but more than that, having to define sex crimes and power in such restrictive binary terms perpetuates yet another erasure of LGBTQ people.
The feminist movement is certainly not perfect, but it is ludicrous to suggest anything other than the fact that feminists have long advocated for the agency and respect boys and men, too. If you missed that message, you probably weren't listening. So, perhaps you should start.
