Welp. This piece goes wrong right from the lede.
Defense Distributed doesn't make any 3D-printed guns. You can't buy any guns at all from Defense Distributed. You can only buy blueprint files... Files they've long tried to give away for free on the internet. Also, this isn't despite the ruling or in opposition to it. 
As this piece later points out, the ruling specifically says the files can't be published online but they can be "emailed, mailed, securely transmitted, or otherwise published within the United States." Wilson is basically trolling the judge by doing exactly what he suggested.
