Our job as researchers to understand and share the feelings of those who we're researching.

Translating that experience so other can understand it.

What are some of the rules that Purvi could use to improve her research?

The first rule:

Ask why?

Don't be afraid to ask questions, when we do we understand the why who h inform the how.

2. Build a back story

Every scene you will always begin in the middle and you have to fill in the start and the end.

We're always in the middle as researchers, constantly filling in the past to inform the future.

3. Connect personally and truthfully

We must relate to the character, understand the experience and build upon it to deliver.

When Purvi can connect with someone at a personal level it makes her able to lay aside her assumptions and focus on their needs.
