@Sgjenks825 @Chappyricky @KassandraSeven I would say I USED TO identify as a Republican, for many years; because I know that life starts before birth, but mostly because I considered myself a "Fiscal Conservative."

I admit I bought into the "family values" image, until Trump showed what Reps really think on that topic.

@Sgjenks825 @Chappyricky @KassandraSeven Trump was a watershed moment, yes. But looking back, a lot of other things in my personal life and in my thinking were leading me away from the GOP before he showed up.

I think it's best for Dems to let any and all #FormerGOP walk alongside them in warmth & friendship. It was that kind of welcoming attitude that has lead me completely away from the GOP.

@Sgjenks825 @Chappyricky @KassandraSeven The Trump era is a key moment when the Dems can expand their voter numbers *permanently.* You NEED to take this opportunity for what it is: solid gold.

If Dems wish to grow their numbers, instead of shutting out potential voters, they need to reach out kindly to #NeverTrumpers .

@Sgjenks825 @Chappyricky @KassandraSeven Also: Attacking people because of who they are or were, when they are standing next to you prepared to do battle by your side, is a sure way to lose the fight.

We need to focus on what we have in common, and save any infighting for after the War.
