When "economists" for free trade say that China, India, the US and Japan have experienced greater growth in exports to the EU than the UK in the same period of time (under WTO rules), please refer to the below.
Also, India doesn't actually export to the EU solely under WTO rules as it benefits from unilateral preferential access under EU's Generalised System of Preferences (GSP) scheme.

But in a paper this bad, this error really isn't the biggest crime.

These paras are outstandingly bad:

1. EU tariffs aren't very high anyway (so what's the fuss about???)
2. Oranges will save us
3. The pound might rise but something something EXPORTS
4. EU importers will pay tariffs but UK importers won't because reasons.
For those of you wondering if WTO rules do in fact make the imposition of non-tariff barriers illegal, the answer is "no".

Here's an example of a non-tariff barrier to UK exports that can only be avoided via a deep agreement with the EU:
