Is “hate speech” law “progressing”? Consider Apostle Peter (Acts 4:14) defied Caesar’s hate speech AD 50’s. Soviets 1930’s. Nazi hate speech 1930-45. It’s not progress; it’s regression. It serves tyranny & masks persecution & murder. It destroys progress.
Peter stated this knowing it was a capital offense to contradict Caesar’s minted claim. Japanese citizens learned where “hate speech” led in 1930’s to surrender in 1945.
History testifies that tyranny silenced opposition. If hate laws are not effective enough, coercion enters. We are not exempt from history nor human nature.
It’s never about policy. The “morals” change with trends. It is about control. This is why Leftists are intolerant. It’s why they broadcast “tolerance” in their statements.
