9/11 knocked out our symbolic front teeth. We reacted by electing a Muslim president, almost letting a mosque be built on the Twin Towers site and importing Islamist migrants. We finally have a president who can say “Islamic terrorism.” We’ve just begun to fight.
George Bush boldly stated “the terrorists hijacked a peaceful religion.” If Islam was a peaceful religion, we would not need to use the word “peaceful” in a sentence using “Islam.”
Islam is a supremacist violent ideology with distinct religious elements of sexual assault & exploitation. It is the single worst ideology for prisons.
The ideology is both precept and precedent of coercion. When others wage offensive war in the name of religion, they oppose their own ideology. Not Islam. “Peace” with non-adherents is against Islamic ideology.
